Account Specialist
Aon Risk Solutions is currently seeking an Account Specialist for the Chicago, IL office
Position Summary:
Assist Account Executive on managing relationship with complex accounts, managing key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing activities related to these processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison with the ACS unit, coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS unit to ensure that key processes assigned are completed effectively.
Duties include:
Accounting:
• Confirmation of LN40 Completion for premiums
• Discrepancies – All lines
• Review invoices for accuracy
• Transmittal of invoice to client
• Coordination of Financing
• Premium follow-up with the client
• Confirmation of premium payments, when requested by various parties (carriers/brokers)
• Providing clearance for returns to be sent to the clients.
Policies:
• Policy receipt follow-up with brokers
• Tracking of policy checking with brokers
• Policy delivery to the client
• Issue LN571’s to ACS
General – Aon:
• AVX Completion
• Bridge Maintenance-confirm accuracy of information
• Maintain LN2500’s
• Jeopardy Reporting
• Time Tracking follow-up with the service team for AVX accuracy
• RFP involvement/response coordination/development of response proposal
• Manage ACS Team Members
• Ensure compliance with Signature Service Standards
• General - Client
• Stewardship Reports
• Schedules of Insurance
• QDR’s
• Insurance Digests Schedules
• Coordinate/attend underwriting meetings (mid-year & renewals)
• Contract reviews
• Special Client Projects
• Account Reconciliation
• Revenue Management & Client Renewals
• Collection of renewal data
• Manage timelines
• Renewal Strategy Meetings – preparation, coordination of team members
• Coordination of renewal (and mid-year) conference calls and meetings
• Preparing client presentations
• Transparency & Disclosure
• Ensuring that the placing brokers are compliant with T&D Standards
• Confirmation of file completion
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• College Degree; Experience in insurance preferred.
• Illinois Broker’s License or willingness to obtain.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor and control work flow deadlines, attention to detail and be flexible.
