Full-time Executive Protection Underwriter - Strong Sales Acumen

Currently, Chubb is seeking an Executive Protection Underwriter for the Atlanta, GA office.

Position Description:
Responsible for the profitable growth of assigned small-middle market private book of business. Underwrites Executive Protection, Chubb Pro and Health Care business handled within Branch. Supports marketing and production activities for entire portfolio of CSI business.

Major Job Functions:

Underwriting
• Utilizes appropriate tools to underwrite small and middle market new business and middle market renewals above USB eligible threshold. Underwrites EP, Chubb Pro and Health Care lines of business within Branch.
• Maintains underwriting quality standards. Includes appropriate documentation relating to final underwriting decision.


Sales and Marketing
• In collaboration with the SRC, analyzes opportunities and creates a business development strategy for assigned territory. Executes on this strategy to generate profitable growth. Prospects for new business across CSI product portfolio regardless of where the business is underwritten and serviced.
• Drives/participates in Branch sales and marketing activities. Includes account rounding/cross-selling initiatives, local marketing campaigns, new product launches and promoting alliance opportunities. Collaborates with the SRC, as appropriate.
• Identifies and directs complex business opportunities to the SRC. Promotes and coordinates transfer of business (below appropriate threshold) to the USB for renewal processing. Manages overall follow-up on NBS opportunities with key agents.
• Informs manager of coverage and/or product opportunities/weaknesses impacting growth potential. Gathers pertinent competitive information to assist in developing product development recommendations.


Agency Management
• Leads/participates in Branch agency analysis and planning process. Includes analysis of assigned agency plant and development of agency plan for growing the business. Collaborates with SRC in executing effective agency plans and sales/ marketing strategies for SRC producers within assigned territory.
• Manages assigned producer relationships and product education/appetite. Maintains a strong market presence and high visibility with agency plant through frequent communications and well structured visits.
• In collaboration with the SRC, assists in educating producers on products, services, automation, and underwriting standards as well as sales and marketing techniques. Key priority is to help agents sell to the non-buyer.


Account Management
• Oversees assigned Branch key account relationships. Develops and executes effective strategies to generate profitable business growth. Includes development and implementation of key account visitation strategy.
• Collaborates with the SRC and USB on key account growth and retention opportunities.
