PURPOSE: To expedite the processing of the Insurance files from all agents. Ensure accuracy and compliance with auditing requirements of information that is transmitted to carriers. Approximately two weeks of the month assist in processing commissions and agent incentives.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
1. Check all new business files for accuracy of completion of paperwork.
2. Scan all new business paperwork and attach to corresponding policy in the management system.
3. Organize, record, and scan insurance paperwork that applies to policy changes.
4. Verify all required client information and input data into agency automated system to maintain
accurate and current information.
5. Electronically archive paper files and practice secure disposal of paper documents.
6. Process, distribute and/or scan mail and order department supplies when Quality Support is out.
7. Recognize various insurance company forms for proper processing.
8. Maintain knowledge of how insurance companies, Insurance Services and Field Agents function together to assure the smooth and accurate flow of field documentation.
9. Assist in processing carrier commission checks and insurance agents’ incentives approximately 2 weeks out of the month.
10. Backup for the Leads Coordinator.
11. Provide assistance to the Supervisor, Insurance Management System as needed.
12. Attend insurance staff meetings as scheduled.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, SPECIFIC ABILITIES:
1. Extremely detail – oriented.
2. Strong math skills.
3. Excellent computer skills along with knowledge of internet based programs.
4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Strong organizational skills for electronic processing of insurance documents.
6. Good analytical/reasoning skills to determine proper procedures based on insurance guidelines
7. Willingness/ability to learn new computer systems as needed
8. Confidentiality a must.
9. Insurance Agency experience preferred.
Ability to assist the Accounting Specialist and Leads Coordinator as needed.
Must be able to effectively multi-task
*Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Could vary between 8:00am-5:15pm *Wages start at $12.19 – $ 13.72 per hour *Full time benefits package
