Full-time Account Specialist - Physician Practice Group

Aon’s Physician Practice Group, is seeking a physician professional liability underwriter to join the team of the Miami, Florida office.

Position Summary-
Manage book of physician business, including; large medical groups and underwriting for risk retention groups.
Essential Duties
Strong customer service orientation
Underwrite professional liability for risk retention groups and captive clients
Review assigned new and renewal policies for eligibility
Review new business to ensure proper policy documentation
Determine acceptability of new and renewal utilizing various reporting tools
Review & revise pricing & coverage to ensure premiums charged are commensurate with exposure
Create proposals including all carrier options
Bind coverage with carriers
Follow through new and renewal process internally and externally
Review policies and rates for accuracy
Deliver policies to clients along with their invoices on a timely basis
Assist unit Vice President in solving client issues and problems  
Work closely with Unit VP on agency new business development and renewal retention

Requires Skills and Experience
5 or more years of commercial carrier underwriting experience preferable.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Team player with strong customer service orientation
Working knowledge of automated systems and applications currently in use in the industry
PC literate required
Solid knowledge of processing methods & workflow procedures
Experience in Physician Professional Liability preferable

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
