Full-time Sr IT Process Analyst

Currently, Chubb is seeking a Senior IT Process Analyst for the Whitehouse Station office.

Position Summary:

Responsible for execution of process and metrics within the Personal Lines IT division. With supervision, executes components of assigned PMO owned processes, including, but not limited to, Financial Management, Project & Portfolio Management, Governance, SOX, SDLC compliance.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Supports development and maintenance of approved methodology, processes, metrics, templates and guidelines. Supports continuous process improvement.

• Provides support to Personal Lines IT in areas such as budget, governance, SOX, internal audit, metrics, portfolios and process.
• Uses available process modeling tools to develop and maintain process flows.
• Gathers available data in support of metrics and reporting.
• Engages and informs Personal Lines IT through effective collaboration and communication
• Supports project management and process guidance for Personal Lines IT initiatives to reduce risk, ensure compliance and increase success.
• Assists with enforcing processes, standards and methodologies
• Executes processes
• Develops an understanding of the business need behind assigned processes
• Assists with auditing teams to assure process standards are met
• Assists with reporting of status regularly and accurately reflecting issues, progress and key milestones
• Meets completion dates on time, with quality and within budget
• Able to assist with managing Personal Lines IT expectations
• Assists with effectively leading assigned projects from inception through deployment
• Allocating resources to schedules for specific timeframes.
• Ensuring project schedules are properly resource leveled at all times.

Recommended Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Commensurate Experience
• 3-5 years of combined business, project management, and technology experience,
• Practical experience, as a team member, with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies and continuous process improvement.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio and Clarity. Experience in process modeling tools is desired.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Experience using enterprise PPM (Project & Portfolio Management) applications
• Experience in initiating, conducting, and facilitating discussions with multiple stakeholders, and ability to translate the results and issues at hand to the business and to the IT teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills.
• Results-oriented and analytical with the ability to develop, improve and streamline work processes.
• Effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Operates effectively in situations with limited information; is innovative, flexible and adaptable.
• Demonstrate professionalism and personal accountability for work activities, relationships and career development
