Benefits Specialist

Oasis Outsourcing is looking for a Benefits Specialist that will educate, enroll and assist Oasis clients and employees with all benefit issues and inquiries under section 125 regulations and HIPAA guidelines. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, be able to handle benefit issues/inquiries accurately and timely to maintain satisfied clients.
Responsibilities Include:
• Processing of enrollments including open enrollment
• Resolving or facilitating the resolution of client benefit issues and questions
• Identifying and resolving payroll and billing issues
Knowledge & Skills:
• HIPAA and Section 125 regulations
• Group Medical and Ancillary products
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to Prioritize and multi-task
• Effective research and resolution abilities
• High level of detail and customer service orientation
• Microsoft Office Applications
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 yrs of benefit experience (two year college degree preferred)
• 2-15 State insurance license preferred or will be required within first year
• Minimum of 2 yrs experience in group benefits arena. Familiarity with PEO industry is a plus.
