PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To assist the Operations Manager in managing the office; to manage daily office operations, training staff, assuring compliance to company standards, industry best practices and client service requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts training for users and clients on the application system on an as-needed basis.
Ensures that overall policies and procedures for claims management in the unit are followed so that the unit meets service standards, state statutes/regulations, disability plan document, industry best practices and client service requirements.
Establishes and maintains client contacts.
Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Travels as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
Assists with interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required.

Experience
Four (4) years of claims management experience including one (1) year supervisory experience required.
