Position Summary:
In this role, under limited supervision, you will resolve all types of the most serious losses, heavy commercial property losses or other assigned losses by investigating, negotiating settlements, presenting evidence in legal proceedings while maintaining high production levels; make sales calls and presentations when requested.

Examine claim forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions and other records to determine coverage
Set loss reserves, and control claims cost
Recommend litigation when appropriate
Assist less-experienced adjuster with claims handling.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education

Perform other duties as requested, or required.

Requirements:
Ability to travel
A valid driver’s license
Strong analytical and mathematical ability
Licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions
Previous experience adjusting complex property claims or claims with heavy losses
Associate in Claims (AIC) through AICPCU

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
