Full-time Sr. Account Specialist

Currently we have an opportunity for a Sr. Account Specialist (CSG) position in our Los Angeles, CA office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day to day accountability for managing a new program. This will include prospecting, rating, proposing and binding P&C coverages for assigned programs;
- Evaluate client needs and make appropriate coverage recommendations;
- Exercise sound rating judgment which support Program and corporate objectives;
- Identify adverse risk characteristics, apply applicable pricing and effectively present options to the client;
- Secure renewal solicitations and sales within targeted timelines;
- Manage daily phone coverage to achieve department standards;
- Complete all client service requests within targeted timelines;
- Clearly and appropriately document account according to department standards;
- Audit client files to ensure adherence to Program standards
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to effectively manage assigned territories
- Collect and monitor competitive intelligence on all key competitors within assigned territories

SPECIAL SKILLS:
P&C License, Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, Strong customer service orientation, detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors Degree or equivalent casualty insurance knowledge preferred

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3-5 years in insurance.
