Full-time Claim Assistant - Team Player w/ Strong Computer Skills

Currently, Chubb is seeking a Claim Assistant for the Dallas, TX office.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
• Monitor and accurately attach mail/email/faxes to open/closed files.
• Monitor workgroups and process tasks/requests within established service guidelines.
• Request off-site records and follow-up on outstanding items, search for missing files as directed and pull files for Closed File Reviews or Internal Audit reviews within established service guidelines.
• Complete standard file closing procedures and merge adjuster's files within established service guidelines.
• Assist and provide backup support to Reception/Call Center duties.
• Clerical duties will include processing of various types of forms and letters according to the established workflow
• Financials: Responsibilities as needed and assigned to include check printing, random sampling, payment processing, process stop pays and voids, check copy requests, returned checks, match attachments to checks, cash receipts and perform coverage match at Adjuster's request/direction.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Basic knowledge of computer navigation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed service metrics.
• Demonstrated basic written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Effectively work in a team environment, promoting a professional, courteous and supportive environment.
• Demonstrated ability to process all file management functions and workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to process high volume transactions in a claim service environment.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• Two years customer service OR general clerical experience preferred.
• College degree a plus.
