Claims Supp Specialist

Position Summary:
Provide assignment support for Central Management Services for open/pending assignments by contacting clients and/or contractors, and updating various mediums according to procedures and program requirements.
Responsibilities:
Review daily reports for outstanding assignments.
Contact clients daily to provide status regarding mitigation assignments.
Contact contractors for file status (site inspection, estimate upload, etc.) as necessary.
Record status and file activity utilizing specific computer applications.
Assist clients with customer service inquiries.
Participate in special projects or perform other duties as requested.
Requirements:
2 years customer service and/or administrative/clerical experience
Knowledge of computer programs and the internet
Preferred:
Basic understanding of insurance terms, principles, concepts and practices a plus
