Full-time Reinsurance Claims Analyst: Managed Care

Aon’s account and relationship managers form We currently have a career opportunity open for a Reinsurance Claims Analyst: Managed Care in our Pittsburgh, PA office.

Responsibilities:

1) Provide Claim support to Aon Risk Solutions Managed Care Clients:
Assist Clients with Claim submissions
Act as advocate to the client in the claim submission process
Retain high level of security within Government guidelines in the claim submission and review process
Perform the pre adjudication of claims as required by the client
Review reinsurance recovery for accuracy and to coordinate release recovery to the client
Develop receivable targets for clients as necessary.

2)Perform Claim Analysis for the benefit of the practice and clients
Create benchmark information for client comparison
Create reports for clients to include in data exchange meetings
Assist with Managed Care department requests as necessary in order to meet client demands

Qualifications & requirements
High School Diploma. Preferred post HS education/training in Claim processing, Health Insurance, understanding of Managed Care  
3 – 5 years experience in claim processing of first dollar medical claims
2-3 years experience of claim processing in a managed care or stop loss environment
Understanding of Claim Coding, UB and HCFA forms and electronic filing requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary.
Internet acumen to perform research on national Medicare, Medicaid and commercially offered managed care plans
Experience in Excel with ability to manipulate text and do formulas, Word and relational databases
Ability to work as part of a team
