Account Specialist Property & Casualty

ACCOUNT SPECIALIST- PROPERTY & CASUALTY

Major Duties:
• Accurate management and maintenance of client files according to corporate/divisional guidelines and standards.
• Respond promptly to all client inquiries, keeping clients, as well as staff, current.
• Prepare formal presentations to clients as requested.
• Communicate with markets for renewal policies, quotes, endorsement requests, and invoices.
• Meet deadlines and keep written detailed information of all renewals.
• Ensure that all binders and documentation have been received and are current.
• Respond promptly to all client inquiries in all matters.
• Ensure all communication is accurate and understandable.
▪ Navigate carriers’ web sites to obtain endorsements, loss runs, renewal policies, and invoices.
▪ Request/check/process policies, endorsements, and audits.
▪ Adhere to department’s follow up system.
• Input all data into applicable Aon system.
• Undertake various duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
• College degree.
Experience:
• Experience in insurance preferred. Illinois Broker’s License or willingness to obtain.
• Analytical work experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Special Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
