Account Executive- Financial Professional Lines

Job Summary:
The world’s foremost independent risk advisors are busy, which is good news for licensed P&C brokers with an eye for the big picture and a knack for getting inside a client’s business. We seek an experienced Account Executive with 5+ yrs of Financial Professional Lines brokerage experience. Candidates should be strategic thinkers who value honesty and possess a sense of urgency matched by integrity and an absolute commitment to client care. The Account Executive will be responsible servicing a book of Commercial Financial Professional Lines accounts.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
The duties of the Account Executive include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for the overall service and renewal of the Fin-Pro accounts within the department. Create client proposals for new business and renewals. Review policies, create and implement marketing strategies and provide recommendations to clients regarding placement options. Maintain continuous coverage and keep all clients abreast of changes in policy coverage and market conditions
• Perform risk analysis/consulting, policy reviews and issue-resolution as they pertain to client Fin-Pro exposures
• Maintain productive business relations and engage in contact with clients as circumstances dictate upon consultation with each account’s primary relationship manager. Engage in productive contact with underwriters, other departmental account executives and producers
• Organize the firm’s Fin-Pro markets and nationalize our approach by creating coverage baselines utilizing checklists and a network of industry contacts. Determine appropriate providers, coverages and premiums
• Write explanatory materials on Fin-Pro products/services in conjunction with upper management. Coordinate sales materials with the organization’s sales teams. Educate other teams within the organization on all aspects of Fin-Pro products, including but not limited to exposures, coverage forms, and the application process
• Suggest and participate in product creation and/or improvements branded to DSG
• Train Fin-Pro Associate/Assistant Account Executive(s) to enhance knowledge of products and markets, coordinate and monitor workload for maximum efficiency and client satisfaction.
• All other duties pertaining to Fin-Pro products as deemed necessary by management
Requirements and Qualifications:
• College degree preferred
• Valid P&C Broker’s license
• Minimum 5 years of commercial financial professional lines brokerage experience
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Sagitta agency management system
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-starter, professional and assertive
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Be able to handle a fast-paced, challenging work environment
