Tax Accountant - Excellent Team Player

Currently, Chubb is seeking a Tax Accountant for the Warren, NJ office.
Primary job responsibilities include:
Prepare estimated payments and final returns for approximately 33% of states. (Includes maintaining and reconciling the return to the tax system rates). Keep abreast of existing laws and identify new and/or changes to current rules and regulations. Maintain the systems for the municipal taxes in various states. Maintain licenses for states assigned and update license tables and charts. Maintain the worklog for states assigned and log in daily mail as received. Assist in analysis of quarterly tax provision and reserve for local taxes. Assist in identifying and researching tax planning opportunities and participate on special projects assigned by manager.
Job Requirements
•Good organizational skills.
•Ability to effectively work on several projects concurrently.
•Working knowledge and understanding of personal and mainframe computer software (Excel, Focus).
•Effective oral and written communication skills.
•Good Analytical, research and documentation skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree: Accounting/Finance
