Full-time Senior Account Specialist- Stamford CT

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Specialist in our Stamford CT office.  

Job Summary:
Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients Gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history, and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with the Brokerage Units. Performs submissions assembly/creation where assigned.

-Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests
-Assists AE in completion of Client Promise Plans on timely basis., including entering contact and key survey , follows-up on survey receipt and reviewing results with AE. Drafts assigned elements of client promise plans within 30 days of survey response
-Gathers and analyzes data including loss runs and forecasts, audits, and endorsements
-Actively supports and monitors the renewal process, including premium allocations.
-Ensure full compliance of AON’s Transparency and Disclosure Policy including annual refresher courses and providing the necessary documentation for self-audits
-Gathers data for AE to help in the completion of the AE Sales Plan
-Provide the client with the direct contact information and services provided by ACS, and when necessary serves as liaison, coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively
-Receives and manages routine and complex coverage inquires and endorsement requests
-Monitors and follow-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, receivables (fees under 60 days and commission under 90 days) and premium discrepancies. Addresses and resolves problems.
-Assists AE in the Orbit Budget annually, forecasts monthly/quarterly…input and monitors the revenue budget. Create reports out of Orbit for AE
-Client Profitability….assist AE in analyzing client profitability reports
-Supports key processes and internal activities to deliver client-facing services-positive interaction with ACS, PASC and ARS Practice Groups
-Become very familiar with ARS systems – Bridge, ATD, Orbit, DMS, and GRIP
-Attend client meetings whenever appropriate.
-Serve as AE on smaller accounts ($25,000-$75,000) within the AE book.
-Active pursuit of an insurance credential (CIC, ARM, and CPCU) in order to broaden and develop insurance knowledge. Minimum one class per year
-100% compliance with time tracking
-Performs related duties as outlined in Talents & Rewards Systems (TRS)

Special skills required:  
-Brokers license
-CIC, CPCU or ARM preferred
-Proficiency in PC office products as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
-Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of AON specific software tools

Minimum education required:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent and Risk Management / Business Related curriculum preferred
Minimum work experience:
Minimum 3 years insurance experience
