We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Property and Casualty Trucking Insurance Account Specialist to be located in our clients Miami, FL office.

A Senior Account Specialist is responsible for renewing, underwriting, billing, collecting and reporting on the trucking insurance business within this client program. This includes meeting of overall production targets, client service standards and administrative requirements as outlined below, as well as other related duties as assigned:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Day to day accountability for renewing and servicing trucking insurance for a large Aon client captive program including physical damage, auto liability, cargo and excess. – Renewal and servicing of business to include rating, proposing, binding, billing and collecting trucking and related insurance coverages for this program; – Evaluate and perform reporting requirements and produce reports using a multiple of systems for multiple partner entities; – Exercise sound rating judgment which support Program and corporate objectives; – Identify adverse risk characteristics, apply applicable pricing and effectively present options to prospects and clients; – Secure renewal solicitations and sales within targeted timelines; – Manage daily phone coverage to achieve department standards; – Complete all client service requests within targeted timelines; – Clearly and appropriately document accounts according to department standards and systems; – Audit client files to ensure adherence to Program standards; – Willingness and ability to travel as needed; – Collect and monitor competitive intelligence.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
P&C License, Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, Strong customer service orientation, detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills. Specific trucking/motor carrier insurance sales and service experience required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors Degree or equivalent length of time in insurance industry required.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum three years trucking insurance industry experience.
