Full-time Local Practice Leader - Kansas City

We have an exciting opportunity for a Local Practice Leader – Health and Welfare for our Kansas City Office. 

The candidate will complete an analysis of client assessments, renewal information and other data, direct overseer of RFP preparation and vendor selection, manage a book of business primarily as an Account Executive, but may cross-over to project management as needed. They will achieve annual new business, individual and practice group sales goals. They will manage client work and, supervise a local team to assure timeliness for quality work, establish and maintain carrier and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will be an emerging leader with emerging senior client relationships. They will establish credibility (knowledge/trust) both externally as well as internally. This position will drive the growth of the local Health and Welfare practice.

Role and Responsibilities:
-Identifies new opportunities in large/complex accounts (Health and Welfare)
-Drives growth (penetration, new business, fee increase) at both existing as well as new clients (Health and Welfare)
-Provides expertise in servicing low to medium complexity accounts (determined by volume/size of accounts and/or nature of business)  (Health and Welfare)
-Identifies client needs and develops custom solutions (Health and Welfare)
-Coordinates budget compilation for local practice group  (Health and Welfare)
-Drives collaboration with local SRO and CRO offices and other practices to develop client serving capabilities across the organization (Health and Welfare)
-Achieves or exceeds budgeted revenue and margin targets for local practice (Health and Welfare)
-Drives growth, profitability and operational excellence across the local practice (Health and Welfare)
-Drives client service and knowledge development in the practice (Health and Welfare)
-Builds talent; retains and attracts best talent to the organization (identify new talent, mentoring, and sharing intellectual capital) (Health and Welfare)
-Energizes others to live Aon values (Health and Welfare)

Candidate must have:
-Proven leadership with highest level executive market relationships to solve most complex risk management problems for Health and Welfare Accounts
-The candidate will need to have experience with large complex Health and Welfare accounts

Minimum Education Required
A college degree or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience
 5-7 years experience in the H&B Brokerage/consulting business

Designations/Licenses -
A CEBS designation or equivalent considered a plus
At least a Life and Health License
A series 6 or 7 license not required, but considered a plus
