We are currently seeking candidate(s) to join our team as an Account Consultant in our Commercial Property Casualty Division based in Miami, FL.
 
An Account Consultant is responsible for managing, developing and growing trucking insurance business within an assigned client program. This includes meeting of overall production targets, client service standards and administrative requirements as outlined below:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Day to day accountability for selling and servicing trucking insurance for a large Aon client captive program including physical damage, auto liability and cargo. – New business production to include prospecting, rating, proposing and binding trucking and cargo insurance coverages for this program; – Evaluate client needs and make appropriate coverage and limits recommendations; – Exercise sound rating judgment which support Program and corporate objectives; – Identify adverse risk characteristics, apply applicable pricing and effectively present options to the client; – Secure renewal solicitations and sales within targeted timelines; – Manage daily phone coverage to achieve department standards; – Complete all client service requests within targeted timelines; – Clearly and appropriately document account according to department standards; – Audit client files to ensure adherence to Program standards – Willingness and ability to travel as needed to effectively manage assigned territories – Collect and monitor competitive intelligence on all key competitors within assigned territories

SPECIAL SKILLS:
P&C License, Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, Strong customer service orientation, detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills. Specific trucking/motor carrier insurance sales and service required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors Degree or equivalent length of time in insurance industry required.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum five years trucking insurance industry experience.
