THIS POSITION IS FOR PHOENIX, AZ
Job Description: Objective: To manage the retention and growth of an assigned block of business. In doing so, the Account Executive will often perform the broker role in client interaction and management of account with the accompanying responsibilities. Essential Functions: ? Build and maintain client relationships aimed at client retention. This includes: • Advising client • Strategic planning • Report analysis • Plan performance analysis and quantitative data analysis ? Coordinate and direct assigned client activities within Client Services and assist as necessary ? Manage new client implementation process ? Develop bid specifications ? Negotiate (or assist in negotiating) the renewal action with carriers based on client needs ? Evaluate marketing results, develop recommendations and present to the client ? Educate clients on applicable legislation and market ? Assist in the growth of the overall clock of business by maintaining and executing an effective marketing plan ? Develop cross-serving relationships and achieve individual cross-serving goals ? Maintain up-to-date familiarity of industry trends that affect the benefit market ? Understands the client’s organization, procedures and internal politics ? Understands the client’s overall business needs and identifies value-added services that CBIZ can provide ? Maintain compliance with licensing requirements

Requirements: Qualifications: Four year college degree preferred. Professional designation preferred Requirements: ? A minimum of five years of work experience as an account manager working with an insurance carrier or HR benefits related capacity ? Maintain an active life and health agent’s license ? Must have reliable transportation, current drivers license and proof of automobile insurance ? Must have solid industry knowledge base ? Must have familiarity with insurance carriers, products and renewal guidelines ? Must have proven and progressive Account Management skills and exemplary customer service skills ? Must be able to manage multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail ? Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to foster client relationships ? Able to work in a team environment ? Must be proficient in the following software: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
