We currently have a career opportunity in our Chicago office for an Associate Director/Broker
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage a team of 10 brokers and support staff and oversee brokerage placements for private companies and non profit organizations. Lines of coverage placed include Directors and Officers, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Commercial Crime and Kidnap/Ransom. Placements are handled on behalf of local Aon offices who need product expertise. Job responsibilities include ensuring that placements are handled correctly and on time, overseeing staff in placing business, building carrier relationships, negotiating terms, presenting to local account executives, binding coverage, reviewing policies, participating in RFPs, etc. Occasional client meetings and conference calls. Responsible for revenue of $5,000,000 annually submitted from half the country.
Requirements:
5+ years handling D&O, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Commercial Crime and Kidnap/Ransom
Attention to detail and high level time management skills.
