Responsible for the facilitation of clinically pertinent reviews on patient admissions for continued stay reviews including completion of certifications. The Review Specialist will interface with managed care organizations, external reviewers and other payors to ensure that the admission, continued stay, and discharge plan is in compliance with JCAHO, HCFA, and established utilization management policies and procedures

Master’s degree in clinical field such as social work, psychology, nursing, etc. Excellent documentation skills and attention to (treatment) detail(s). Experience in an in-patient psychiatric facility, familiarity with different levels of care.
