Full-time Production Specialist

Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for a Production Specialist with the Premium Accounting Service Center (PASC) in our Owings Mills, MD office. 

The PASC is a unit of ARS-US that provides day-to-day premium accounting support to all ARS US offices, Aon Client Services and our partner insurance markets participating in the placement of insurance products and services for ARS US external clients.

Summary-
Supports the PASC Offshore Functions.

Responsible for the scanning, and storage of critical PASC documents (and disks), including lockbox and physical exemption check items, returned checks, NOCs, recissions, bankruptcies, returned client statements, carrier statements and electronic service requests for retrieval of storage items.

Reports to Field Support Services Management Team

Duties and Responsibilities-
Runs reports from Bridge daily. Utilizes reports received and ran to identify exemption check items for indexing into Symon DMS. Scanning and indexing of physical exemption checks into Symon.
Recognize confidential documents and handle appropriately
Scan and index documents using FileNet software tool
Perform quality checks within FileNet software tool to ensure documents have been indexed properly
Filing of physical checks, lock box disks, Returned Clients Statements, and other documents.
Prepares and sends storage items to Iron Mountain as required, normally every 2 to 3 months.
Retrieval of storage items on request
Scanning of Returned Client Statements into Symon. Local office contact and re-mailing of statements per Local Office instructions.
Maintains the “Statement Holds” Spreadsheet and communicates to Office Services twice per year.
Scanning and indexing of carrier statements into Symon DMS.
Perform other duties as assigned
 
Education-
High School Diploma or GED
Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
 
Work Experience-
1-2 years of work experience in business document scanning or general accounting.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Experience with FileNet software tool a plus 
Insurance experience a plus
