The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies is currently seeking a Senior Premium Auditor to join their Western Territory field audit team.
The Senior Premium Auditor will audit risks with high degrees of complexity and premium levels of $100,000 and greater. This includes all aspects of field auditing, including:
-Scheduling and completing audits
-Resolving audit questions and disputes
-Coordinating audit services nationwide for multi-state customers.
Audit service and relationships with producers and commercial underwriters are the key components of this position. A high degree of collaboration with audit staff, the Loss Control team, and underwriting business units is expected. Additionally, the Premium Auditor will conduct value-added services such as New Account reviews, Business Income consultations and training seminars for producers.
The territory is projected to be Northern California. Travel to Chubb's Premium Audit Center in Phoenix, Arizona is required upon hire for orientation training. Overnight travel will be required. This position offers a company car following successful completion of the training period.
Performance will be measured by:
-Effectiveness of account coordination for multi location customers
-Field productivity
-Quality and timeliness
-Compliance with all established audit guidelines
-Internal and external relationships developed
-Impact on the branch's bottom line
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of Insurance Industry Premium Audit field experience.
-A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in a Premium Audit function is required.
Additionally, candidates must possess the following:
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-The ability to articulate a concise and upbeat presentation
-A high level of organization and superior time management
-Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
-The capability to adapt to new ideas or changing procedures/situations.
-General business knowledge and understanding of insurance products and coverage's needed for value added services
-Ability to understand Chubb's underwriting philosophy and practices desired.
Education: required. Bachelor's Degree in Math, Accounting or Finance a plus
