Currently, Chubb is seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist for the Warren, NJ office.

Organization Description:
The Commercial Strategic Marketing (CSM) department is the commercial in-house marketing resource to provide value added service to drive the business goals to both Chubb Specialty and Commercial Insurance.

With our home office and field partners we provide and support distinctive, innovative marketing solutions through a strong diverse team of experienced subject matter experts that:
• Produce market and industry insight,
• Collaborate on business, marketing and technology strategies,
• Deliver communication and knowledge sharing and
• Develop, implement and promote products, services and solutions
CSM is comprised of key practices including – Marketing Communications, Market Research & Analytics, eBusiness, Marketing Development and Product Development

Position Description:
The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist reports to the Marketing Communications manager and is responsible for working with individuals, business partners and on teams to develop strategic, integrated communications plans and marketing resources/materials in support of the commercial SBUs business priorities.

Responsibilities:
• Handles diverse requirements: marketing, employee, executive, crisis communications, internet/intranet, presentation and marketing collateral writing.
• Creates and coordinates messaging across all audiences.
• Recommends and produces a full spectrum of internal and external materials including talking points, sell or fact sheets, web-based communications, conference or event support, and other materials as required.
• Knowledgeably represents commercial SBUs and its priorities in any audience, may serve as practice spokesperson.
• Initiates and recommends ideas for research, internal and external sales support, best practices, new channels and new resources as appropriate.
• Leads or participates actively on project teams
• Manage administrative functions such as planning and budgeting for assigned area/clients. No direct staff.
• Sought for particular areas of expertise.

Competencies/Skills:
• Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of marketing or related experience.
• Demonstration of strong leadership and influencing skills required. Candidate should have a proven track record of proactively creating and maintaining strong internal and external relationships with business partners, team members, producers and vendors.
• Thorough knowledge of the commercial SBUs business and priorities
• Demonstration of strong project management skills with successful accomplishment of deliverables.
• Listens, writes and presents extremely well
• Excellent collaborator
• Equally effective working independently and in groups
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite especially with PowerPoint
• Marketing and Communications knowledge focusing on innovative approaches in the marketplace
