Position Overview
Aon seeks an experienced professional to join the Premium Accounting Service Center of Aon Risk Service. Position will be responsible for handling Notice of Intent to Cancel and Notice of Cancellation requests initiated by insurance companies.
Position reports directly to Team Director within the Premium Accounting Connection team.
Primary Accountabilities
• Communicate and coordinate with local Aon Risk Services office personnel and insurance carrier contact on Notices of Cancellation for non-payment of premiums.
• Research and resolve intent to cancel and actual notices of cancellation of insurance premiums.
• Utilize negotiation skills to facilitate the resolution of complex insured/carrier cancellation issues.
• Ability to provide innovative and creative solutions.
• Perform duties with heightened sense of urgency.
Qualifications
• Candidates will possess approximately 3-5 years of work related experience, with 2-3 years of insurance related experience preferred.
• Communicate effectively by writing and speaking in a clear and concise manner.
• Problem solving to formulate corrective action through interpretation from various sources.
• Commitment to client service
• Utilize computer skills including Excel, Outlook and proprietary databases to input, access, modify or transmit information or to execute analysis.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school.
