Claim Examiner II-Worker Comp

Position Summary:
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle moderate difficulty type claims; take appropriate action to achieve results that have a positive impact on profitability. Settle claims for assigned lines of business promptly and equitably under general supervision.
Responsibilities:
Establish reserves
Authorize payments within scope of authority
Ensure timely issuance of disbursements
Develop subrogation and third party recovery potential
Participate in claim reviews
Perform other duties as requested or required.
Requirements:
1-2 years experience in Claims or similar organization
Workers Compensation (WC) Adjuster
Preferred:
Industry Designations: IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU.
Bachelor’s degree
