Full-time SERVICE MANAGER, CMRL INS

at Old National Bank in Indiana

Old National Insurance, a subsidiary of Old National Bank, has an opening for a Commercial Lines Service Manager in our Evansville office. Old National is the largest independent retail insurance agency headquartered in Indiana and is one of the top 100 insurance brokers in the U.S.

The Commercial Lines Service Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Commercial Lines and Small Business Customer Service Agents (CSA’s) and Technicians, along with the Receptionist/Claims Technician. In addition, he/she will also be required to provide assistance to the Producers in handling and processing of new and renewal commercial lines business along with providing in-house customer service to clients as assigned and requested.
 
This position is a dual Service Manager and Commercial Lines CSA role. As a Service Manager, this person would be responsible for such items as: managing the day-to-day workflow for those reporting to him/her, monitoring productivity, ensuring that workflows and timelines established are met, assist in the hiring process including training new/current associates, leading monthly department meetings along with participating on other committees deemed appropriate, prepare and give annual and quarterly reviews to direct reports along with other HR items as required. The Service Manager is also responsible for overseeing that various other policies are adhered to, including but not limited to: accounting discrepancies and accounts receivable.
 
The Commercial Lines CSA duties include:
Coordinating expirations with Producer(s), obtaining new and/or renewal information, assisting in the marketing of accounts, preparing proposals/summaries of coverage, verifying accuracy of policies issued to the coverage’s requested and maintaining complete and accurate information in the Agency Management System. He/she would also be responsible for the day-to-day communication with the client/prospect with regard to policy changes and other requests for service. He/she is also responsible for monitoring accounts receivable and ensuring that accounting discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. This person would also be responsible for communicating with Producers regarding service issues or other problems.
 
 
The ideal candidate will have:
10+ years experience as a Commercial Lines CSA, or equivalent position.
5 years previous supervisory and operations experience.
Current Indiana Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
Thorough understanding of Commercial Lines underwriting and coverages.
Ability to analyze risk exposures.
Previous Agency Management system experience, Vertafore/Sagitta preferred.
Previous Document Imaging systems experience a plus, Vertafore/ImageRight preferred.
Professional designation(s) a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess proven successful supervisory skills.
Must be detail oriented, excel in a fast-paced environment, able to meet deadlines, work with a sense of urgency and have excellent customer service skills.
