Claims Administrative Analyst, Commercial Lines (Entry Level)
This position is located in the Coraoplois office outside of Pittsburgh
Paragon is a services division of Aon Benfield specializing in the identification, billing and recovery of non-premium recoverables like third party deductibles, subrogation and reinsurance. Our services, which leverage proprietary technology and predictive analytics, maximize recovery potential and financial performance for our customers.
Position
Research and analyze claims and policies, identifying recoverables for commercial lines third party deductibles. This requires extensive work at a computer station, locating and managing workflow through various systems applications, electronic documents and files. This is a metrics driven, task-oriented environment. This is a full time position, M-F, with regular core business hours.
Primary Accountabilities
• Research claims and policies for recoverable billings and update research information in database
• Maintain accurate records of time allocation in time tracking application
• Communicate account status to appropriate internal sources
• Perform internal client audits and maintain data accuracy
• Administer/validate client account information to ensure accuracy
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of college coursework. Bachelors degree (or candidacy in progress) strongly preferred
• Prior office experience preferred with solid keyboarding skills in order to work continuously in a computer environment
• Proven detail-orientation
• Ability to work in a repetitive environment, as well as meet quality and quantity metrics
• Interpersonal skills to work in a team environment that also requires sharing information across department boundaries and with external clients as needed
