Full-time Business System Support Technician – 3+ yrs Experience Needed

Currently, Chubb is seeking a Business System Support Technician for the Warren, NJ office.

POSITION SUMMARY:
•Support production processes and quality metrics for a specific applications or platforms.
•Manage the application deployment function and maintain service level agreements at an application and platform level.
•Responsible for sustaining the business, contingency and audit activities for various Claim IT applications and platforms.
•Facilitate user acceptance testing and training development for various applications and platforms.
•Provide support to newly deployed applications.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Perform 2nd level support activities, and escalate to Technical Leaders for 3rd level support
•Liaison between Corporate IT Help Desk Level 1 and Claims IT
•Perform incident management function to recover business and IT operations
•Coordinate and assist with troubleshooting of code defects, data errors and configuration problems to determine the origin of application errors
•Create, document and close work orders
•Develop and completed required specification documentation
•Assist with the development and deployment of training.
•Responsible for facilitation and documentation of post implementation reviews
•Assist with user acceptance testing.
•Responsible for performing system audits
•Provide 2nd level application help desk support
•Responsible for managing deployment and system shakeouts


RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:
•College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
•3-5 years of relevant experience in systems and applications support
•Experience implementing quality guidelines, standards and procedures
•Knowledge system functionality
•Demonstrated experience in project and change management
•Knowledge of application control techniques
