POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide professional and courteous service for new and existing policyholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Customer Service Representatives are responsible for servicing and maintaining existing accounts to include quoting on new lines of insurance and handling all policy inquiries and changes. Prepare and complete applications, as well as follow up on needed information. Works with clients via the telephone as well as in person. May work in call center or sales office environment. Assumes additional duties as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1year of customer service experience.
- 2-5 years Insurance Experience
- 2-5 Years Agency Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Bridge)
- Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients.
- Provide administrative support as needed by preparing correspondence, reports, presentation materials, exhibits, etc.
- Calendar management, travel arrangements and expense reports.
- Schedule meetings and any necessary arrangements such as room reservations, meals, AV equipment, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Brokers License in Illinois preferred; successful candidate will be required to obtain Illinois Brokers License
- Excellent communication skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
