Full-time Senior Consultant - Enterprise Risk Management

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Consultant, Enterprise Risk Management provides Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) consulting services to clients and also supports product development, training, marketing and sales efforts as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a wide range of consulting services to clients from all industries, including financial services, manufacturing, entertainment, energy, technology, etc.

ERM consulting services will include:
Risk governance – help clients assess risk management capabilities, develop strategy, design and implement enterprise risk management frameworks, and develop sustainable ERM investments
Conduct ERM framework reviews
Assess ERM capabilities and maturity
Recommend specific actions to close gaps
Design and implement solutions
Develop methodology and tools to assist clients in risk-based decisions to enhance enterprise value
Risk identification – help clients identify key risks to their enterprise
Conduct interviews/surveys with key internal stakeholders
Conduct external benchmarking
Analyze results and prepare client documents on qualitative risk assessment and ranking
Risk reporting – help clients design and integrate ERM into their internal reporting and external disclosures, including support of rating agency presentations
Risk quantification – quantify the client’s key risks to prioritize, focus and support decision-making
Assist in conducting client meetings to develop risk scenarios for key risks
Prepare client deliverables documenting results and meeting with clients to validate
Work with models to quantify the impact of risks (depending on candidate)
Coordinate with ERM quantification colleagues to deliver seamless service to the client
Risk response – provide clients with the information and the process by which they can make risk-to-value trade-off decisions (Potentially, depending on candidate)
Assist in training of ERM staff as well as other Aon colleagues
Assist in product development efforts, including research and development
Assist in marketing and sales efforts – assist in preparing industry and client presentations, preparing proposals and engagement letters

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Sr. Consultant with 3-5 years ERM experience in direct consulting role.  
Must be willing to travel.  
Must have strong analytical skills as well as be a good communicator (verbal and written).
ERM experience as a consultant or within an organization with an ERM program
Client consulting experience, or internal project experience
Flexibility, both in terms of scheduling and type of work
Ability to handle multiple tasks successfully
Track record of working well as a member of a team
Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
Desire to work with both clients in a wide range of industries
Strong-to-excellent communication skills and business savvy
The following are pluses but are not required:
CERA designation of other risk-related professional designation
Knowledge of @Risk software.
Internal audit, six sigma, risk governance or financial reporting experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree, MBA, JD or similar would be a plus.
