We are currently have a career opportunity for a Broker with International P&C experience in either our Chicago or New York offices. No relocation.

DESCRIPTION:
Knowledge of international and global risk finance and insurance coverage and mechanics.
Client facing skills including effective presentations & communications
Ability to work with moderately complex accounts
Ability to analyze and identify exposures
Effective working knowledge of International casualty
Emerging coverage competency, knowledge of markets and relationships
Possesses basic competency on assigned coverages (common forms, exclusions, endorsed enhancements)
Possesses & utilizes basic negotiation skills for the brokerage process
Participates and promotes pre and post placement servicing (premium financing, claims, etc.)
Actively seeks out new and challenging projects
Mentors entry level brokers
Established team player and emerging internal network

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have knowledge of international and global risk finance and insurance coverage and mechanics. At least 3 - 5 years background experience preferred. Must possess strong technical, presentation, analytical, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Excel is required as well as experience with other Microsoft Office products.
