Full-time Consultant-Risk Control

Currently we have a career opportunity for a Consultant-Risk Control (AGRC) in our Los Angeles, CA office.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide risk control services on behalf of our clients principally including coordination of carrier/vendor services, advising on risk improvements strategies/carrier recommendations and oversight of client's risk control functions.
Identify service needs of clients and coordinate with carrier/vendor to provide.
Conduct and participate in client risk assessments and evaluations
Coordinate, collect and assess exposure information using templates to assist with marketing and placement of insurance programs.
Use systems and tools to organize and track client’s exposure and mitigation plans.
Assist clients and other team members by serving as a resource concerning risk control services and matching consulting solutions to client's key needs.
Make decisions on behalf of clients to assist in the achievement of program goals

Position Responsibilities:
Adhere with professional standards and established Best Practices
Develop and deliver effective written and oral communications using Aon templates as applicable
Work effectively within matrix organization, interacting with both geographic leadership and practice groups.
Operate with efficiency; suggest methods for improving processes where practical.
Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge/skills as the profession and technology evolves.
Support and facilitates a team environment of continuous feedback and idea sharing.
Participates in external associations to contribute skills and enhance technical abilities.
Use "peer review process" to maintain quality of documents/services provided.
Comply with company policy and procedures for timekeeping, expense reporting and billing.
Identify potential risk consulting opportunities
Maintain relationships with local carrier and other vendor risk control representatives

Minimum Education & Special Skills:
College education or work equivalent
Minimum 5 – 7 years property risk control experience
Ability to conduct research and analysis and define potential problems and identify solutions
Possess strong organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with attention to details
Effective communications (oral and written)
Proficient in company sanctioned software and systems, Internet and on-line systems
Physical Requirements
Maintain current driver license
Travel within assigned geographic area
Ability to Make decisions on behalf of clients to assist in the achievement of program goals
