Sales Manager

United Insurance Group is currently seeking a District Sales Manager who will be involved in developing a successful team of agents in a specific geographic territory or district and producing sales. The position involves classroom training as well as field training of both experienced and inexperienced insurance agents along with ongoing management of agent activity and consistent sales performance.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting, training and managing new managers and agents
Developing talent and providing constructive criticism to improve reps’ sales skills
Overseeing team performance and helping reps implement successful sales strategies
Identifying sales opportunities and ensuring reps are maximizing prospects in market
Managing marketing and business development activities
Producing strong sales results in accordance with monthly/yearly goals

2-4 years OUTSIDE sales and/or management experience within the senior insurance market
Must have experience in Medicare sales

At least 3 years Management experience within the insurance industry
Active Life & Health Insurance License for the state of Georgia
Experience in recruiting Insurance Agents
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Must have reliable transportation
