Full-time INSURANCE ACCOUNTING CLERK II

at Old National Bank in Indiana

Old National Insurance, a subsidiary of Old National Bank, has an opening for an Accounting Clerk in our Indianapolis office. Old National is the largest independent retail insurance agency headquartered in Indiana and is one of the top 100 insurance brokers in the U.S.
 
The Accounting Clerk will monitor and follow up on the insurance division’s vendor payables and enter client payments. This includes reconciling vendor statements with our records, researching payment and invoicing issues, monitoring certain expenses, printing and mailing checks, and entering electronic payments. The Accounting Clerk will receive and process payments from agency billed clients. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk will return credit balances to clients and submit finance agreements to finance companies.
 
Qualifications:
High school diploma.
1 year of prior accounting experience preferably in accounts payable and receivable.
Strong communication skills are a must.
Proven successful customer service skills are required.
