PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To support the program management department for multiple office location and to train clients and colleagues on claims management systems including ongoing system enhancements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports and maintains the claims management systems in multiple office locations.
Provides training to clients and colleagues on claims management systems including ongoing system enhancements.
Runs, prints, reconciles, reviews and distributes standard and customized reports for colleagues and clients.
Promotes data integrity for accuracy of client information in the claims management system database.
Assists with the completion of appropriate client set-up and maintenance forms and with Client Service instruction maintenance on the claims management system; becomes knowledgeable about client set-up and maintenance functions.
Maintains a quality assurance program to support the Total Performance Management initiative and the consistent delivery of quality claims service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Licensing:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Two (2) years of PC experience including Microsoft Office products and two (2) years of claims management or insurance experience required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
Analytical and interpretive skills
Strong organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.
Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines
