Customer Service Agent, Commercial Lines
at Old National Bank in Indiana
Old National Insurance, a subsidiary of Old National Bank, has an opportunity for a Customer Service Agent in our Terre Haute office. Old National is the largest independent retail insurance agency headquartered in Indiana and is one of the top 100 insurance brokers in the United States.
The Customer Service Agent is responsible for providing assistance to multiple producers in the handling and processing of new and renewed commercial lines accounts. Additionally, the Customer Service Agent will provide in-house customer service to clients.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate expirations with producer and obtain renewal and/or new business information.
Assist in marketing of new and renewal business and determine premiums and prepare presentation packets.
Maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier; checking new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, coverage, signatures.
Generate billing invoices ensuring that items are delivered and/or mailed to client ensuring that all electronic files are current and complete.
Interact with clients and companies regarding insurance, claims and general administration.
Qualifications:
2 years of insurance experience is required.
3 to 5 years of commercial insurance experience is preferred.
A current Indiana Property & Casualty insurance license is required to perform the duties of this position; alternatively, the ability to obtain this license within 90 days of hire.
Proficiency with Microsoft products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous Agency Management systems experience is a plus; Vertafore/Sagitta preferred.
Previous document imaging systems experience is a plus; Vertafore/ImageRight preferred.
Must be detail oriented, able to excel in a fast-paced environment, able to meet deadlines, work with a sense of urgency and have excellent customer service skills.
