Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an Account Specialist in our Philadelphia, PA location for our Construction Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 •Assist Account Managers on assigned construction accounts, managing key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes
 •Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients
 •Gathers and analysis data on exposures, loss history, and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with Brokering Unit. Performs submission assembly / creation where assigned
 • Gathers and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
 • Actively supports and monitors the renewal process.
• Where applicable, serves as liaison with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
 • Receives and manages routine and complex coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates.
• Monitors and follows-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, AVX analysis, ORBIT data, receivables and collections. Addresses and resolves problems.
• Work with underwriters in developing and planning.

Special Skills Required:
• Experience in insurance of construction accounts highly desired
• Written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with internal and external customers, peers and management
• Verbal communication and listening skills to effectively service customers
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly i.e. Aon specific software tools
• Attention to detail with the ability to access information, and resolve basic issues
• Organization skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to function will within a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Work Experience:
•3-4 years of related work experience preferably with Corporate Accounts
•Insurance experience required
•Candidate must be willing to obtain P&C License within 6 months Minimum Education Required:
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Risk Management / Business related curriculum preferred
•Brokers License, CIC, CPCU, or ARM preferred
