Full-time Assoc. Account Specialist/Executive Assistant

We have an exciting career opportunity an Account Specialist/Exec. Assistant in our Southfield, MI office:

Account Specialist/Executive Assistant:
- Will assist our Account Executives with their day to day handling of commercial accounts (75% of time)
- Act as Administrative support to Chairman of our Southfield, MI office (25% of time).
- Develops understanding of operating processes and methodologies
- Develops understanding of insurance market and client-facing capabilities
- Provides support services on medium complexity risk management accounts
- Develops internal and client relationships
- Develops coverage competency, knowledge of markets and relationships
- Obtains or possesses current industry property/casualty license
- Works independently with moderate guidance and supervision

Requirements:
5-10 years of successful Insurance and/or Risk Management experience required. Proficient with MS Office Technology, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, must be able to translate and type letters from hand written material, strong communication skills.
