Full-time Account Coordinator

Currently we have an exciting career opportunity for an Account Coordinator in our Aon/Albert G. Ruben office (Entertainment Insurance Brokers) located in Sherman Oaks, CA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be responsible for setting up and filing documents electronically in designated network files; process client invoices and suspense for payment; as directed, follow up for receipt and transmittal of policy and endorsement documents; process certificates of insurance in a timely manner, complete surplus lines forms, and other special projects. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining key relationships with various stakeholders including both internal and external staff and clients. Quickly learn and utilize proprietary software program for client accounting and policy management purposes. Maintain work product environment under compliance and audit parameters. Surplus Lines and other insurance knowledge a plus, but not required. Will also manage incoming calls, assist with special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Special Skills:
The ideal candidate must possess organization, time management, prioritization, communication (verbal and written), and multi-tasking skills. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, be detail-oriented and be a self-starter.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of general office experience. Insurance experience is a plus.

Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college is a plus.
