Summary of Role:
In this role, under moderate to light supervision, you will investigate, reserve, negotiate, evaluate and settle casualty claims of complex exposure including fatalities; present evidence in legal proceedings while maintaining adequate production levels; make sales calls when requested to do so.

May assist junior adjusters
Recommend litigation when appropriate
Set loss reserves, and control claim costs
Produce reports and other documents as evidence
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education

Perform duties in other areas as requested

Requirements:
Ability to travel
A valid driver's license
Minimum of 4 years prior claims experience
Licensed as required by state and local jurisdictions
Flexibility to work a variable schedule outside of normal business hours, including on-call

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Extensive, substantive experience as a Claims Adjuster
